Anybody know anything about judge.com? Someone from there contacted me about a "6 month+" contract job.
Sounds like it could be decent experience. But I don't want to be grasping at straws just to break into the IT field. I need to be careful, I have a house to pay for, a family to support, etc. I assume there wouldn't be any benefits. Is that how contract jobs work? Actually what is the difference between a contract job and a regular job, besides a limited length of time?

How this stuff works is, one company will outsource a particular job to another company who makes a contract for you. In my experience contractors get paid a lot more money per hour than regular employees becuase of the lack of benefits and the fact that it sucks not knowing where your next check is coming fromBS - Computer Science
