I'm probably the last one to know this, but while watching Internetwork Expert's class on demand yesterday I discovered that all of the additional readings that are recommended for IE R&S candidates can be viewed electronically on a monthly subscription basis at http://safari.oreilly.com/.
If you're like me, the last thing you need is to spend $50 for a text that will be obsolete in 24 months.

MrD Member Posts: 441I'm the exact opposite. I hate reading off the screen...books that is. If I do have an ebook I'll print the entire thing, so it comes out about the same. Plus, I love adding to my Cisco bookshelf. I have nearly 30 books thus far. It's like a hobby, now :P

PCHoldmann Member Posts: 450Adding to the tips, check out http://www.internetworkexpert.com/resources/ for some great free resources. I liked the CoD sample on the DocCD, it helped me a lot.
P.S. I also use Safari, while I agree with MrD in preferring a paper book, I can use Safari at times like lunch at work, etc. so I always have a book available. I am working my way through Internet Routing Architectures at the moment. There's no place like ^$
