What industries are hot for IT

I had an interview for a position at a nursing home last week. Even though my skill sets were not a match the hiring manager stated that
healthcare IT will be big in the next 5 years.

Any thoughts on what industries are hot for IT

In terms of healthcare IT for the next 5 years, I know that wireless is becoming hot with hospitals. There are several here in NYC that have invested a lot of money into wireless. This allows Biomed Techs to track and locate equipment for inventory, PMs and emergency situations. It allows doctors to obtain patient charts, as well as dynamically send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy. It also allows them to track patients throughout the facility.
