A+ Hardware / OS

I was think about taking the A+ Hardware exam before xmas and then taking the A+ OS exam in Jan.

But do you think I should wait and take the A+ 2006 exam ?

I would take the A+ 2006. From what I'm hearing it isn't that much difference from 03. Just the A+ Essentials and the A+ IT exams. This way ur cert will be updated. I took the 03 because I should have taken it a long time ago but recent events made it imposable.

If you are ready now, I'd take it now.

The CompTIA cert is for life and having the current objectives under your belt I just don't see how it is relative. Most people do not stop at A+, so go for it and continue you on your exam path.

If you think it will matter for you to be one of the first with 2006 Objectives...then keep preping and take the exam when it is released.

Though if I were you....I'd take it now. FWIW
