System Restore
I have been studying system restore and I know it will be on
the test. It is a great trouble shooting tool when it works.
The books I have read guide you in setting up restore points,
however, in my own experience in restoring computers, sometimes
these restore points do not work, even trying recent restore points
and restore points a month in the past., using XP professional.
Why is system restore not reliable sometimes, and you get the
message "cannot restore computer".

System Restore is ok for undoing recent changes but should never take place of a good backup plan. -

used the maximum setting for system restore. I have 80 gig hard drive and 63 gigs of free space. Even with all this free space system restore does not work sometimes. What is the key to a successful system
restore besides setting up your own restore points.Richard Krenzel -

***I'll add you can Capitalize the word 'I' to show a little respect for yourself too.
'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -
