Just started my 70-290, set up the server installation, loaded Active directory, and now want to create roaming profiles for two users, I have added in AD, please could someone tell me hot to create the roaming profiles for each user,

Orion82698 Member Posts: 483Create a network share (obviously set the permissions so that all users can get through the share). I would create the home directories as well, but you don't have too.
Configure the path in the account to point to the network share for roaming profile. By default, the user should be added with Modify permissions to the directory (when they log in).
Create a file on the desktop, log off, and confirm that the file is on the server as well. As long as you didn't get an error, and the file in on the server share, you're good to go. You can go a step further by removing the local profile off the machine, and log back on, thus forcing the roaming to come back down to that machine. This would simulate moving to another machine.
