Hello guys I am new to this part, I am trying to work on an old system and install windows 98 SE. I can successfully boot from the CDROM and then I want to create 2 partition. when I chosen the option with CDROM support, it brought be in a dos environment. Then I typed FDISK and also I tried FDISK/S and it told me that it did not recognise this command, anyone can help me with that?
Thank you
Eric

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminIt doesn't recognize the command because it isn't in your 'path'... run fdisk from the directory where fdisk is located (the boot flop) or add it to your path variable.

manrick777 Member Posts: 19 ■□□□□□□□□□Thank you, it does work right now. Also I had problem to install NT4, I had the 3 boot disk, and everything was fine until after the third disk the system asked me to put the cdrom of windowsNT in the CDROM but every time I did that, it was asking me the question again and again, like if it would not see the cdrom. fortunately I had an NT expert that helped me yesterday. I want to set up NT and learn some of it because many people told me that many questions about NT are in the O/S exam.
Thank you
