i have had several opinions on how to configure the following---
QUESTION 1
if i am asked to configure isis into eigrp with the following info
bandwidth 256bkps
delay 100
reliabilty 255
load 1
mtu 1500
is it done like this?
redistribute isis level-1 metric 256 100 255 1 1500
THE BIT IM CONFUSED ABOUT IS WHAT TO PUT FOR THE DELAY --is it 10, 100 or 1000) note delay is stated as 100 (not 100ms)
QUESTION 2
however if the delay states ms --such as:-
bandwidth 256bkps
delay 100ms <
reliabilty 255
load 1
mtu 1500
is it done like this?
redistribute isis level-1 metric 256 1000 255 1 1500
please can some one help confirm both queries for me
thanks

If they give you a delay metric -- use that as the delay metric. If someone gave me "delay = 100" I'd use 100.
If they give you delay = 100ms ... then that's the trivia. I'd convert the 100ms to the "tens of Microseconds" delay metric value.... whatever that comes out too.
1000 X milliseconds value to get microseconds?
then divide that by 10 to get the "tens of Microseconds" value?:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

If they ask me something like this I am going to leave a nasty commentNow working full time!
