Large UK networks?

i know this is strictly not directed at the ccna so feel free to move the link if you feel so.

but does anyone know what the big networks in the UK are? i am not talking about ISP providers but the massive networks which carry most ISP's internet traffic?

this is for a uni assignment but i cant seem to find any info and was just wondering if any of you guys knew?

And subnetworks thereof.... IE the secure National NHS Net VPN within BT. Apparantly one of the largest VPNs in the world.

I work for a major ISP in the UK and the major backbone providers we use include BT, Fibrenet (now called GlobalCrossing), NEOS, C & W, and COLT.
