I just finish watching Mike Wilson live Bcast at CCNA Prep center.
A trunk can operate in one of 5 modes Auto, Desirable, on, off nonegotiate. Mike presented a chart with possible senarios but left a few unanswered. I can't run VLAN on my switches and the software version is limited so my question is,
If switch A is set to Auto and switch be is set to Auto will it be trunk
or if (SWA) is set to Auto and (SWB) is set to Nonegotiate will it trunk? Here's some more:
(SwA)Noneg-(SwB)Des
(SwA)Noneg-(SWB)Auto
(SWA)Noneg-(SWB)Noneg
If I understand correctly none of these senarios would trunk is tht correct?
