Responsibility of Data Link Layer
RZetlin
I have this question on layer 2 which I am stumped on:
Which one of the following is
not
a responsibility of the data link layer?
1) Node Addressing
2) Guaranteed delivery of the data
3) Flow Control
4) Error detection
I can confirm that it's not 3 or 4.
I have no idea what is node addressing is.
Isn't guaranteed delivery of the data done by TCP, the transport layer?

2) is the mismatch.
node addressing is MAC, the data link sublayer.
