CCNP Academy Material or the Self Study Cisco Press?

Hey Guys,

I am currently working on the BSCI, and noticed the CCNP Academy material. I dont know why I didnt think about that material before, since I went through the CCNA Academy. Currently I am using the 642-801 Self Study book. I built the lab the book talks about in the BSCI second edition and have just been taking notes and working the labs.

I am wondering if this is sufficient to pass the BSCI, or should I also pick up the CCNP Networking Academy Material as well?

Has anyone seen both texts? Does the Academy CCNP 1 material focus on a single exam such as the BSCI?


I am aware of the new changes taking effect come the new year, so that kind of throws a wrench into things since Ill probably have to get new text anyways for the 642-902.
