Robocopy? Anyone ever used?

We have a W2K server at work used only as a file and print server. The DC is located offsite. The server is several years old and has been logging some hits lately. We placed a new server online and loaded it with the OS and a copy of the current data.
I want to keep the backup server as current as possible in the event of a fatal outcome. I saw on the windows resource kit where a program called 'robocopy' can transfer files from one server to another even across NTFS directories.
Has anybody used this?
Does this sound like a way to duplicate data on a non-DC?
Can this be scheduled to run daily?
