Mike Meyers Passport
Hi all,
I just recieved the Mike Meyers passport book, I figured that I know 50% of the hardware material anyway so its enough to get me through. However im not too good on the OS section will it be enough to get me through or will I need extra resources? Anyway the book seems excellent, pretty straight forward, how did everyone revice from this book, did u just read every page and do the tests, or did u take notes on every page then do the tests? How long will that take? whats the best way to use it? I didnt get the all in one, do you need it?

Do the lab to get hands on experience.
Highlight things that you want to recall.
As for extra prep materials;
TechExams
MCMCSE
ExamEssential
All have good resources for you to prepare for the exam.
Last note, if you can exchange the passport book for the Mike Myers A+ 4th edition book, that would be a much aid for you to pass -

visit comptia website and download the exam objectives. download as many exam guides and revision notes that you can find on site like www.examnotes.net www.cramsession.com etc.
anything that you feel is lacking, please post it here.
for the most part, getting to know what applets in the control panel control what in win9x, nt and win2k is necessary; the files required to boot each o/s; the dos boot order; dos utils; networking.
simply using computers with these o/s under normal running will cover most of what you need to know.A+ Moderator -
