Basic questions

How many questions are on the hardware test? How much time do they give you to take the test? I will take the test soon, but I am waiting untill I feel ready. Can I take the software side of the test first, or do I have to pass the hardware first. Will the 2006 version be easier to pass? I have been studying the 2003 objectives. I am using this website and a few others to take practice tests and I am using the HP IT Essentials 1 PC Software and Hardware Companion Guide Second Edition. I think in about a month I will be ready to take the hardware and software 2003 test.
