ISP
Ok...I recently moved into the boonies ( i like the peace and quiet), but I cannot find a service provider for DSL or a cable modem. Trust me, I've gone through tons and tons of places too to look for it including thelist.com.
Anyone have satelite connection and if so (if you dont mind me asking) how much you pay and how good is it?
Any opnions or ideas are welcome

Nope, no one has access...I've checked all the popular and unpopular isp connections and none of them provide in my area...which is quite rural and in a valley -
OptionsJDMurray Admin Posts: 13,034 AdminIt looks like you'll need a satellite link for Internet connectivity then. StarBand (http://www.starband.com/) was the first one that popped up on a Google for "satellite internet access". Dial-up speeds and propagation delays means you won't be streaming anything, but at least you'll be able to email and Web surf.
