Linksys
Does anyone know how I can find what chipset what wireless card has? It's a WMP54GS v1.1. I contacted LinkSys, but they tell me "Only LinkSys Engineers have that information." Sounds like a bunch of bull to me. I heard LinkSys constantly changes the chipsets in their cards, so any info would be helpful.

Pretty good list, it had your card on it, some kind of Broadcom chipset.
I agree with the Linksys answer being bull, I was once told by HP customer service that parts from a printer were not user-replaceable...

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModYou could give something like Everest a try, (there is a free edition as well), or you could check out a freebie tool or two from Major Geeks. Any one of those tools should be able to give you information about the chipset, what drivers you need, what speeds things are running at, temperatures, etc. . .
