passing score

How are passing scores determined? I thought when I took the CCNA it was an 85% you had to make. If it is sort of a sliding grade scale, how is it determined what percentage you have to make to pass?

also, I have 2 practice exams. 1 from pass-guarantee.com and one from boson. They both has basically the same questions, almost verbatim. the pass-guarantee has (what I think are) incorrect answers. I feel like the Boson questions are more reliable. Can anyone else corroborate this?

    ahuebel,

I took the CCDA on the 26th of November 2003. You need an 825 to pass. The scale is 300-1k. so, basically it is an 83% give or take.
