Cisco is proud to announce that we currently have over 600,000 certified individuals in our growing Career Certification Program. This number includes all individuals worldwide certified at the CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIP and CCSP levels of Certification, as well as the Specialist focused certifications. Cisco Systems does not disclose the break-down of the total number of individuals who have completed different Cisco certifications.

They do make it sound like its valid certifications... but I've got to wonder if maybe they are counting bodies that were previously certified.
And the "individual" makes it sound like they are only counting everyone once.... but then that could just be marketing speak..... but that number is really scary if it is active certified individuals counted just once for all their certifications.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -

CCIE is valid for 2 years. You dont have to do the lab test to recertify, you could "simply" write one of the written exams.

I'm sure it's not meant to be easy whether it's your first, second, or third time. But it's probably more "easy" after the first and second time.Jack of all trades, master of none -
NightShade1 Member Posts: 433 ■■■□□□□□□□Of course is a way more easy.... the reason many and many ppl arent CCIEs yet its because they dont pass the lab... i think most of the ppl pass the written exam...

Its all relative.CCNA Lab: Two 1720's, one 2520, two 2924XL switches
[IPCop box] PIII 1GHz | 512MB RAM | 1 Gig Compact Flash HD
Errors in your CCNA text book? Never mind, the authors don't care.
