I have read these two articles from two different resources
http://www.informit.com/articles/article.asp?p=24686&rl=1

Isn't failove command issued on Standby PIX, whether a PIX is primary or secondary ? because in the first article it says : "Primary-Standby", which I believe it is a typo

To force a unit to be the active unit, use the " failover active " command on the Primary-Standby unit, or the " no failover active " command on the Secondary-Active unit.

se the " failover active " command to initiate a failover switch from the standby unit, or the " no failover active " command from the active unit to initiate a failover switch.
