break password in layer 2 switch

hi friends ..can any one tell me how to break password in layer 2 switch

Pull the power plug on the switch, hold down the button on the front, put the power plug back in, wait 5-10 seconds and release the plug, you're now in rmon. Rename the config file to config.text.bak, and then type "reload". Skip the initial setup sequences after it reboots, go into enable configuration mode and then type "copy config.text.bak running-config" and then change all the passwords you want. I know you can change the configuration register to x2142 but thats the way that I do it.
