This is my story. I am currently 18 years old and I am having some problems deciding what career path I want to take. I do know that I enjoy technology and computers. Right now I am planning to get my Associates degree in Networking at a Technical College, but I am a little concern about the future. I would like to obtain some certifications so they look good in my resume. I hope I can at least get three certifications: A+, Network+ and CCNA. I really have no clue how far this Associates degree will take me, and I hope the salary is good enough. I searched for Network Administrator jobs on monster.com and hotjobs.com and all of them will only hire experienced admins with Bachelors degree. Anybody out that has taken this path?

Willis Member Posts: 14 ■□□□□□□□□□Sorry, I never answered your question. An associates degree probably could land you a Jr. network admin. job. Follow that with the certs that you plan on getting and I bet you could land an admin job with some experience.
