Did you install the registry hacks that you usually need on generic PCs?

I have spent spent some time inshp dv9talling CCM 3.3.3 and 4.0 on a laptop, which works
well. I havent seen IIS authorization problem, since this is needed function,

    1. You might try giving Admin right in IIS,

    2. add this to your registry (I am using vmware server)

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems\Model]
    “Hardware”=”MCS7835”
    “Memory”=”1024”
    “Speed”=”733”

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spirian\System Info\OS Image]
    “Version”=”2000.2.5”

    HKLM\Software\Cisco Systems\Model Hardware REG_SZ MCS7835
    HKLM\Software\Cisco Systems\Model Memory REG_SZ 512
    HKLM\Software\Cisco Systems\Model Speed REG_SZ 2000
    HKLM\Software\Spirian\System Info\OS Image Version REG_SZ 2000

or the last and I hate to say this.

    3. re-install th CCM you are using.

BTW I to have to install several os -upgrades prior to installing CM 3.3.3

there is a OS upggrade for 4.0 also, but I was fortuante to get a VMware version that included CM, Unity and IPCC with all the bells and whistles.

Try restarting the IIS and WWW services. If the IIS service won't restart, force it by opening a command prompt and typing iisrestart.
