MMC and Computer Management console

Hi,

In MSPress 70-270 training kit, Exercice3 page 7-22 I did not understand why the authors create an MMC that contains a Computer Management snap-in in order to manage local user accounts.

They just can manage local user accounts directly with Computer Management snap-in, can't they? (start->control panel->performance and maintenance->admin tools ->computer management).

Do they want to introduce us to MMC?

I believe they are just trying to show the reader the MMC as a tool, and how to customize it. It's just another way to accomplish a task.
