IPX addressing
How does the network portion of an IPX address work? Can you do things like subnet an IPX network or all connect IPX machines just in one address range?

yeah I read that right before I posted my question. So would you ever need to manually configure the network portion of the IPX address? -

I figured out what I didnt understand and correct me if I'm wrong. Like IP you have a network number and of course your NIC has a MAC address. So it is just a combination of the two. So two computers in the same network might have an address like 00001234:ACBD12345678 and another might have 00001234:123456ACACBD.
