Hey everyone, I am a total n00b when it comes to Cisco and certifications. I am planning to take the CCNA as my first certification (do you recommend I should take the network+ first before Cisco?) My question is regarding this book:
CCNA Self-Study: CCNA Preparation Library (640-801) (6th Edition) (Self-Study Guide) (Hardcover)
It was printed in 2004. Do you think that it is outdated for 2007 by now? Where can I download updates to the book?

You can check out the Cisco Press books for the CCNA here

The CCNA Official Exam Certification Library (Exam #640-801), 2nd Edition by Wendell Odom is the one usually recommended.
For the Cisco Press books, you can always search the site by ISBN and look for the Errata link on the pages to download "bug fix notes" and CDRom updates if they are available.
I think the Cisco Press books for the 640-801 from 2003 are still "current" and had the updates for the CD Rom test questions. Any of the newer editions hopefully have the Errata from the previous editions "fixed.":mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
