Alright, here is another question and answer that is confusing me a little, I check the errta, with no luck, so I am to assume I am misunderstand this...
#4) Which of the following comparisons is made by a switch when deciding whether a new MAC address should be added to its bridging table?
a) Compares the unicast destination address to the bridging, or MAC address, table
b) Compares the unicast source address to the bridging, or MAC address, table
c) ...
d) ...
Cisco Answer: B
My answer: A
As I believe decisions are pretty much made with destination address, right?
Why would a switch care what the source was? Only that is does not send it back out the same interface?

georgemc Member Posts: 429B is correct. Read the portion of you text where it explains about the mac address(bridging) table. MAC addresses in the table are of machines directly connected (i.e, in the local broadcast domain.)WGU BS: Business - Information Technology Management
