Suggestions for router RIP

I'll be tested on router RIP for my midterm, which is still a good way away yet. However, I want to get a head start on it. I admit that I know little about it right now. Can anyone direct me to where I can get a good handle on it? Perhaps with some practice exercises? Thanks for any help.
