Hey guys and gals,
I'm a contractor with HCA in Nashville TN. I work with a company called Computer Professionals Inc. I've been with HCA since last Oct. I work in Network Support. Support does LAN/WAN work. Security, VPN's, SSL, Checkpoint, ALL Cisco hardware, routers, switches, AP's. Troubleshooting all of these devices and technologies. OSPF, BGP, static routes etc....
My reason behind this post:
CPI came to me and asked if knew anyone who can work for HCA like myself, to be in Network Support. We really need somone.
At this point i dont know any one who is able to do this work.
I know there are some folks who are in NASHVILLE, TN who is looking for a new job and to get there hands on goodies such as Cisco.
Ofcourse i also get a referral fee to getting somone hired.. its a win-win deal
You must be serious please. I'm not going to speak with CPI on a joke basis.
This opening hasnt been opened to public yet so this is the inside scope. I also have the inside source, ofcourse, to get somone an interview with CPI then HCA. Then its up to you to get the job... (no promises of course, i'll try my best for you)
Required skills:
-Most or all of everything I said above.
-CCNA or higher certifications. If no cert, then good level of experince.. Trust me they ask if you have a cert if you have less experince.
-2-5 years exp minimum.
-CISCO, CISCO, CISCO experince. All we do here is cisco if its routing and switching. Security experince will be with CHECKPOINT. SSL experince and VPN will be from CISCO.
This is a networking job. Not a systems administrator job or systems engineer. They are not looking for MCSE's or applications guys. If you have this experince and a good strong foundation of Cisco networking then that will do just fine. If all you have is microsoft experince and no networking then this wont work for you.
-Ok thats the deal. I'm not trying to sound sales like cause i hate those guys. But really, i'm trying to help somone get a job, i know how hard it was for me to get this job. if i can help someone make it out there, that will be awesome!
If your really intersted leave a post, or send me a private message. The top three i'll let CPI know about. And speak with you to know more of your skill set, then have our recruiter contact you to speak, then if it works out interview for HCA.
I know this may all come out sounding like crap. but this is the only way i know to reach a good technical level and proffesional level crowd who are looking for a better job.
Hope this works out for the best!

Title of the job: Senior Network Engineer
Starting pay: Based on experince.
-For an example, i've came into HCA as an Associate Network Engineer, and my starting pay was 58,500 a year.
I'm guesing somone with more experince can make much more than that.
Thats all I have for now.
Thanks
******* UPDATE***********
Its amazing only i'm replying to my posts! Oh well... heres an update regarding this.
After speaking with CPI again, its not nesscarily a SENIOR level position.
Meaning, they are seeking up to three people, with Junior level to senior level skill sets.
When I say Junior i'm meaning at least 2-3 years exp. CCNA certs or higher or exp in networking, strong network knowledge, and maybe some security/firewall knoweldge wont hurt either.
Senior- Well thats self-explanatory, everything above but more years of exp and or higher certs, with work exp.
Thats all for now!Marcus Williamson
