Passed OS today (And passed hardware 2 weeks ago)
Heh I must admit that I never in my wildest dreams thought I would pass OS. I felt completely unprepared but decided to give it a shot anyway. (I'm in an IBM trainee program so all exams have a pre-determined date).
I could only answer 20 questions with 100% certainty, the rest was answered by way of elimination. Since answer 1 and 4 are most certainly wrong it must be 2 or 3 etc and I just picked the one which sounded the most reasonable.
Once the exam was over I was sure I would score 200-250 points tops, but as luck would have it, my risk taking paid off and I managed to score 599 of 900 (505 needed to pass).
Now I just need to study OS more in my spare time so I can actually fix OS problems when they occur
As for hardware, it was as gentle as a breeze, scored 800 of 900 (515 needed to pass).
I've never been a PC tech (Just made my own comp etc), all with self studying. All in all I'm pretty happy I managed to pass, even if the OS portion was just dumb luck hehe

***I'll add you can Capitalize the word 'I' to show a little respect for yourself too.
