AD logon scripts materials?

I have been studying for the 70-290 but i havent found anything on logon scripts in the mspress book. I know you can do home drives and what not, but what ms press book should i look for info on logon scripts ( i have the mcse bundle as well as some syngress ebooks too). I need to do some research on this topic for something work related.

Are logon scripts hard to do when you just need to map a group of users to a shared resources?
