I'll be getting into ACLs (among other things) for my final at the college here in CCNA II; it's still several weeks away, but I want to be ahead of the game when testing time comes. I browsed through the forum, but I'm looking for something to explain them from scratch, as I know zilch about them right now. My textbook wasn't too helpful. Suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

I also have to recommend chapter 10 of Todd Lammle's Sybex CCNA book on ACL's. It got me through them without a hitch
Read up on the concepts of how ACL's work, familiarize yourself with the terminology, try to get it, and come back with any specific questions you may have and I'm sure we can help you out!CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA
