in CCNP
I am thinking about taking the CCNP exam. My CCNA was expired in 2004. Can I just go ahead and take the CCNP or do I need to renew my CCNA before taking the CCNP? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

markzab Member Posts: 619You'll have to retake your CCNA again. Once it expires you cannot just renew it by taking one of the NP tests. Also, not sure if you know by the wording you used, but the CCNP is not 1 test, rather 4 seperate tests."You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" - Rocky

Cisco now has a CCNA Prep Center and CCNP Prep Center you may want to check out.
