Setting up a Linux Client on Windows network.
Sie
I will be setting up a Linux + XP network later (workgroup over a switch)
Is there anything major I need to be aware of?
I have setup numerous windows based networks just checking there was no big suprises involving a linux client.
Also can you think of any major problems with streaming video files on Linux client from files stored on XP client over 100mb LAN?
(Ubuntu and XP i think it will be)

Nothing too hugely surprising about Windows and Linux talking to each other on the network. Samba Server can be a bit difficult to work if you don't know what you are doing.
