Hi guys.
I know the CiscoPress Self Study Guides usually cover thoroughly the stuff you need to learn,
whereas the Exam Certification Guides usually are for review and exam preparation.
Any idea how these study materials compare to Cisco's official courseware?

IF you're referring to the cisco networking academy, I've taken classes in ccna, ccnp, ccsp and wireless in the academy and I can tell you while a lot of the material is great, there's a lot missing. It seems that a lot of the courses are outdated. If you were to use this method make sure to use an additional resource as well.
