Distribution List Problem

Hi Guys,

We have this distribution list named Approved Material and this DL does not have a member yet for a long time. Some users mistakenly sent a email to this DL that has no member.

My question is, where did the email go? as the DL has no member

As the e-mail is sent to a mail-enabled distribution group, no NDR will be sent as the e-mail is successfully being sent to the distribution group. Since there are no user's of that distribution group, nothing at all happens to that e-mail. In essence, it gets sent into the void.
