WDS (Windows Deployment Services)
So I tried to install RIS so I can do remote installations at my new job. But after installing windows 2003 service pack 2 I couldn't even see the option to install RIS. But I saw "Windows Deployment Services" and I went ahead and installed that because I just had a good guess that it was probably it.
So I am learning that Windows Deployment Services is the replacement for RIS and as stated before, you can't even install RIS anymore. I will be learning about WDS in a few days and I don't see any topics on this forum that talks about it. So any responses from people who know WDS will be helpful. I will also try to add anything that I learn.
