Passed

Ok. I took 70-293 this morning and passed!! So far I have taken and passed :

70-290 : Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
70-293 : Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
70-620 : TS : Configuring Windows Vista Client
70-089 : Designing, Implementing, and Managing Microsoft Systems Management Server

From my understanding 70-620 will count towards your client exam and the SMS 2003 test counts as my elective. So, I am off to take "the beast" 70-291 and 70-294 next week. Been study each for a while and it is time to test on them.

When I took the 70-293 test this morning I was really nervous for I have yet to concur the "beast" of 70-291. However, I am prepared now for that test.

The version of 70-293 that I could had a lot of questions on Remote Access, DNS, and Clusters. I would focus on those areas. I personally used the books by Syngress, MS Press, and took several Self Test practice exams.

Personally, I think 70-291 is over-rated in how difficult it actually is. Just prepare for it like any other test and you'll walk out a winner!

I have scheduled both 70-291 and 70-294 for next week and believe I am ready for both. Then I believe I have to take one of the design tests to complete my MCSE. I am leaning towards 70-297 but know that I can take 70-298 as well. Any advice on either? Is one recommended more than the other? What types of materials do you recommend for either for study? Again, going after true MCSE not paper.
