Hey peeps,
having a lst minute cram session for my exam tomorrow, and was wondering how much stuff is there in the actual exam where you have a simulated XP environment you have to work in and do the right mouse clicks etc to perform a specific task?
I hate these, namely because when i've done them in my study materials they seem so closed down to any other method other than what they've explicitly told you in the course materials. One slightly different click and you've lost a mark. Are Micorosfts questions like these a bit more forgiving and open ended??
cheers for your advice dudes.

yeah go on someone - deny or confirm
i hope so, they're my greatest fear - not coz i can't do stuff but until i started any formal training i'm very much a click an see what happens, read what's presented anfd make the most sensible choice really, and if you do it enough times you eventually drill it in. In the two places i've worked as an IT bod so far we haven't used hardly anything compared to whats needed for the course - heck my latest job is still mainly win2k and it feels like playing with a stable version of win98!
cheers fells

Also, although MS mentioned in that FAQ (years ago): "In the future, most MCP exams will include simulations." That is obviously not the case, and I read elsewhere that will not be the case for new exams either (MCTS/MCITP) and is not likely going to change in the near future. So it looks like the sims were a failed experiment... -
panik Member Posts: 61 ■■□□□□□□□□I took 70-270 a couple of weeks ago, and there are definitely no sims.
There are sims in 290, 291, 293 and 294 though...
