Difference between a port-based static and port-centric VLAN

Can anyone explain the difference between a port-based and port-centric
VLANs. I know they're both statically assigned VLANs and very similar, but
whatever I read to distinguish the two, there doesn't seem to be a difference.
I suspect its quite subtle. Can anyone explain the differnce for me please.
