Practice exams suggestions?

I'm looking for a good practice exam to take. One with hundreds of questions. I went to the www.transcender.com website and looked at some exams there. The cheapest one was like 89.00. So i thought it might be cheaper to get a book off the internet with a CD in the back and use that exam instead. Does anyone have any advice? Also how would you rate the transcender exam. Does it come with a book too?

You could buy the test voucher and practice exams (as a bundle) from http://www.getcertified4less.com/network.asp (please make sure that you choose the correct voucher for your country). There are also practice exams from:
    http://www.preplogic.com/vendors/comptia.asp
    http://www.measureup.com/catalog/product.aspx?vid=3&cid=Network%20&tid=36&pid=1614

Transcenders don't come with a book, however I do rate their exams as one of the best. I have used the book/exam sims combi (Examcram, Syngress, etc) and while they are good, imo they are not as good as Transcenders. Other's will have their own opinions, but this is just mine.

Good luck with your exam :)

I have always been careful about using such services. Have they have screwed you over? I am thinking about using getcertified4less for my network+ test, I mean 200 for a certguide, a practice test and a voucher is much cheaper than paying for the test normally. $200 for that package compared to $225 for going the normal route taking the test.

Are you not able to create your own questions from your study materials? It's way cheaper and a great way to practice the material. Follow the objectives and create questions from the material. Researching the answers will help it sink in.

    Also, take a look at:

    'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird?

Thanks for the help. Yes i could prepare my own questions, but it helps me get in the "exam mode" when i'm taking mock exams. I've learned that Exam Cram 2 by Charles Brooks has a CD with 650 questions on it. I can get it for $16.00 on Amazon. So i think i'm going to go that route.
