Remind technical interview

My buddy tjust old me over the phone that he got a interview (tech portion) for a System coordinator job. It is required to know Norton Ghost, Novell Client, Office and other basic HW/SW. We all know it is IT is a huge area.
After a IT guy had been doing something for so long. We all seem to forget some of the basic thing. I keep telling my buddy to relax, but it is difficult for a experience IT guy. You know that you know, but not able to expalin it because you haven't use it for a while.
So, don't get upset when you get a bad or "I don't know" technical interview. Sometime the HR or Interviewer don't know what they are asking for? I doubt that everybody can remember everything they learn.
