what benefits dows server 03 have over Xp when dealing with cisco networks

    In relation to Cisco, there is no significant or even relevant differences between these two Operating Systems.

    In comparison to one another (XP and Server 2K3) there are significant differences in the purposes for which they are built. Can you be more specific as to what you mean, maybe word your question differently or give an example?

    Windows XP can only have up to 10 concurrent connections at any time. Server obviously is quite a bit different, what are you looking for?

    Are you asking whats the difference between a server and a client?

    Or is it specifically to do with Cisco equipment?

    For home use there's no need to have 2k3. For study it's great though even if you aren't studying msoft. It has much better hard disk options (various software raid types etc.) and a lot of extra services you can use with your network equipment (Certificate Services, IAS for Radius etc.).
    We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
