Question on job differences

Im going for a phone interview for a company that does equipment for the government. Which requires me to have a secret clearance, which I already have from my time in the military. Should I expect a significant bump in pay from the usual 15-18 per hour that help desk techs get in this area. Im expecting that any job requiring a sec clearance would probably get you more money, just curious what your opinions were.
