thanks for this ISIS simulator. It is really good.Do you think to add some verification commands to the simulator ? e.g
show isis database
show clns neighbors
show clns interface
it would be very good to see some sample outputs ..

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminHi, and thanks. If you are already pleased with the BSCI sim, check out our CCNA TechSim which uses a more advanced simulator:
www.techexams.net/testsim/techsim.php
I'm going to change the BSCI techsim soon, so it will use our new simulator, but before I do I want to add more basic (as in CCNA) commands. Also, for the commands you listed to have any real use, I need to add a second router to the sim first, but I will eventually add a bunch of show commands. I don't know exactly when though, it will probaby take a couple of months before I get to that point. -

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminYou're welcome. I've considered taking it down once because I'm not going to develop this one further, nice to see it's still useful.

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminTrue, it's not in the way or anything. It's just that I planned to develop it further, not to become a highly realistic sim, but for some additional commands. Since I'm not going to do that, I don't want people to be dissapointed. Another reason was that this one for the BSCI exam is not as advanced as the one I created for the CCNA (not that that one is 'advanced' but you get the point) and I planned to combine them. However, I wrote that with limited Java skills and the code became completely unmanagable.
Anyway, you're right, it still serves good for memorizing those commands, which is pretty much what it was meant for anway.
Thanks again Paul. -
