Should I list my skill set in resume?

Currently I have my skill set listed in the resume, but I find it takes up too much space.
For example:
Internet/E-mail: Exchange 2003, Firefox, Internet Explorer, MSN Premium, Netscape
Browser/Messenger, Outlook 2000/2002/2003/Express, Safari, SSH Secure Shell Client, Windows Mail
Network: ADSL, Dial up, DHCP, DNS, Enternet, LANs, PPPoE, (Printer) Routers, RAS, TCP/IP, Telnet, WINS, Wireless routers
Should I list my skill set?
If yes, what is the most effective way to list them?

Other than that I'd say yes keep them but move them further down if you thing they are eclipsing more important traits on your first page. That first one has to grab their attention straight away. You could always list core skills as a succinct summary then elaborate later. We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place? -

Or would a more detailed explanation is required? -
