Motherboard CD

Hi,

I want little help.
I have HIS Motherboard with P4 Configuration Machine.
Now i want to backup my Motherboard CD into my HDD.
But when i am trying to copy the disk, it gives me the error

'can not read from the disk'

can anyone tell me the what is the problem?
and any solution for this?

Could be a variety of things, hardware / software(driver) based or a problem with the CD itself.

I would proberbly test on another machine to detirmin if it was CD or Drive problem.

Proberbly just a smudge or such on the CD.
