Onforce

Kind of hesitant to post this, but does anyone have any experience with the onforce website? Or know of any other sites like these? My teacher tonight was telling me about them, and it sounded pretty nice.

I work in POS right now, and most of the POS things listed seem like they would be cake for me to do on weeknights/weekends.

    Wizarddeath,

I used onforce for about a year. I mostly had positive experience. If you sign up, make sure you set up SMS job alerts. This is because once a job order is available, onforce sends is to a dozen local technicians. If it's an easy order that has a good pay rate, it is accepted by a technician on first-come-first-serve basis and can become unavailable in as little as 5 seconds icon_exclaim.gif . So it's important to know about an order ASAP if you want to work on more [and better] orders. If onforce SMS alerts often fail to deliver (like in my case), you should use a dedicated email account (only for job orders) and set up SMS alerts via the email server instead (yahoo in my case; works %100).

Onforce is a legitimate site and I think you should do it. You have nothing to loose.
If you have more questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

    Midiman.

I signed up today. I found out that you can take all the Dell cert exams for free as well.
    Free Dell Certifications

OnForce is pleased to offer free Dell certifications for our provider base. To get started, please go to dcse.dell.com and select "Register Today" on the left navigation.

Select DSP/DISP (the first radio button) and hit "Next." On the following page it will ask you for a DSP ID and Employee ID. In the DSP spot put 736, in the Employee ID you can use your OnForce TechID# (even though you are not an employee).

Please fill in the following page with your contact information. An email will be sent to you with your login and password information.

Until we verify that you are an OnForce provider, the DCSE site will ask for a credit card. DO NOT ENTER A CREDIT CARD - you can take the exams for free once we verify your name. If it has been more than 48 hours, feel free to send a reminder to support@onforce.com and we will make sure to verify you.

As soon as you are verified you can start taking free certification exams. Please make sure to add those to your OnForce profile as soon as you have completed them.
