I'm looking for a replacement to the Lotus Notes calendar. I need something that will keep track of appointments and remind me when the day/time approaches. I found several free ones online but am afraid of what interesting surprises I might get when I download them. I wouldn't mind paying some small amount to buy one. Any recommendations?

I haven't used it in a while but Mozilla Sunbird was pretty good a while back.

I like kirby alarm.
I was lucky enough to get the free version while it was out there. You may still be able to find it.
