what is windows 2000 profeesional version of windows xp's taskkill command. What can i use in 2k to perform the same task that taskkill did.

In W2K you had to use the KILL command line utility from the Windows Resource Kit. It did not have a built in function.
I always liked pskill which royal mentioned as you can use it on remote computers rather than just the local computer. Otherwise, you may be able to copy taskkill.exe into the path (C:\Winnt or whatever) on a W2K box and it should work, although I have not tested that.
